I joined The Paddocks in November 2016 and took up the position as General Manager in January 2017. I have had 30 years experience in nursing and Senior Management. As a team everyone at The Paddocks is committed to making our resident’s stay as comfortable and homely as possible.
I joined The Paddocks in June 2017. I have gained a strong financial and administration background, with many years experience. I am a highly motivated and organised individual, with a keen eye for detail. I manage a team of administration staff that have a ‘can do’ attitude. In my spare time I enjoy cycling and running and try to follow a healthy lifestyle as much as possible.
I joined The Paddocks in 2010. I am Clinical Lead in the Nightingale Unit which is the nursing department at The Paddocks. I have a background in mental health nursing and have been a nurse for 13 years. I enjoy the diversity of my role working with an enthusiastic and dedicated team.
I am Tanja, Head of housekeeping at the Paddocks. I have worked at the home since 2012. I take great pride in ensuring the home meets a high standard of cleanliness, meeting the expectations of our residents. I am responsible for organising the domestic and laundry staff on a day to day basis with the support of a great team. I am also the Infection Control Lead for the home.
Hello, my name is Katy. I have over 20 years of experience as a nurse and I am very passionate about my work. I have worked in various types of medical teams including Palliative Care, Mental Health and Learning Disability. I always ensure that residents receive the best care and are treated with respect and dignity. Part of my job is to assist the General Manager to create a family-friendly atmosphere and our door is always open to visitors and families. I have in-depth knowledge of care standards and health and safety regulations. I am leading the care team and have responsibilities for nursing/care management at the Paddocks as well as maintaining our high standards of care. I have a very friendly and effective management style resulting in a good relationship with staff, clients and their families as well as all professionals.
I am the Head of Maintenance at The Paddocks. I have been at the home since January 2017. I am responsible for all the Maintenance in the home with the assistance of my dedicated team, we work closely with the care staff to ensure the home is well maintained and safe for the residents and families, whilst keeping a homely environment. I am also responsible for all Health and Safety compliance within the home.
Hello, my name is Lorraine Holman, I am the Kitchen Manager at The Paddocks. I have been here for the past 7 years. Working in the kitchen we provide a healthy range of varied meals always adhering to our resident’s preferences and requests where possible. My kitchen team always maintain a high level of enthusiasm particularly when preparing meals for our special events and activities, whilst at the same time having a good time with the residents. I am particularly proud of maintaining our 5 star rating which is an inspection conducted by the local authority for standards of food hygiene and safety.
