New Values launched in all homes

We are very proud to share our new Values, launched with our staff at a recent event.

Representatives from all our homes met to learn more about the Values and how they represent our company. They are the culmination of a long period of collaborative discussions with our teams in the homes, resulting in a clear, strong message for all our customers and staff – WE CAN.

The 5 initial letters of the words WE CAN represent key elements of all that we do. Underlying these letters and headings are the hopes and expectations of each element.

We are one big family – As a family, we can inspire everyone and together we achieve more, creating an inclusive and homely community where everyone is made to feel welcome.

Everything we do is from the heart – With a sense of pride, making everyone feel loved, important, valued and special.

Caring is our passion – Feeling and expressing kindness, showing a caring attitude and compassion to everyone.

Always have fun – Smiling, laughter, engagement, activities, socialising, celebrating success and sharing with everyone how amazing we are.

Nothing is too much – The ability to ensure everyone can express themselves, being helpful, listening, respecting and responding to everyone as individuals.

These company values are not just words. They are a guide on how we operate and what’s expected of everyone. They define not only how our employees treat each other, but also the behaviours expected toward customers, partners, and the broader community.

Our Values have always been central to our ethos in our homes and are part of how our teams work with each other and with our residents, their families and friends, and all our other customers.

Posters and visual reminders of these Values are displayed in all our homes. Our teams are happy to discuss how they are embedded in the way we work, together with our ambition to be recognised nationally as being the best in the care sector at Building & Inspiring Communities by #CreatingSpecialMoments.
