October 12, 2021
We are delighted to announce that St John’s House is in the running for a prestigious national award. Our luxury care home in Norwich has been shortlisted in the End of Life Team of the Year category at the Caring UK Awards, which recognise excellence and achievement within the care sector across the UK.

The awards are organised in conjunction with leading care industry magazine Caring UK, with support from headline sponsor Virgin Money. In each category up to seven finalists have been selected and St John’s House has been shortlisted through to the next stage of the judging process.

Managing Director Nigel Reeve expressed his delight at the news, saying: “We always aim to support people and their loved ones with sensitivity, compassion and kindness and we recognise that this is vitally important at the end of their lives. We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this award.”

The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony in Leicester on Thursday 2nd December 2021 when the industry will gather to salute all that is great about the caring sector and recognise the amazing contribution it makes, particularly during the pandemic. An awards spokesperson said: “Never has there been a more appropriate time to recognise the amazing and selfless contribution that our carers make and how they have given so much to protect and care for their residents in the face of unprecedented challenges.”
