Celebrating Australia Day at the Mayfields

At The Mayfields as part of our musical entertainment Trev Walton gave residents a wonderful show full of song and laughter on his most recent visit. Starting off with a medley of wartime and music hall classics, moving on to party favourites and some lovely renditions of hymns and love songs.

Our residents at The Mayfields had a bonza afternoon celebrating Australia Day. They were tested on their knowledge of the country, and Ruth (one of our Activity Coordinators) showed them some of her souvenirs from her last trip which included a T-Shirt decorated with Aboriginal art, a toy kangaroo, koala ,emu, and boomerangs. Everyone agreed they knew more about the Land Down Under than they did before
