Olive celebrates her 100th birthday at St John's House

We rolled out the red carpet for a very special day on Tuesday 6th December for Olive's 100th birthday at St John's House.

Olive's wishes were granted all day - beginning with a Country & Western style music party, which she enjoyed with her friends at the home. We all enjoyed Nick's singing and the morning went off well with a pop of celebrations and bubbly! Most of the residents can't believe she's 100: "We want to know your secret for looking so young!" they cried out!

Then later in the afternoon, Olive was joined by her friends and family for a second celebration in the Carter's Lounge at the home. As you can imagine, Olive was delighted to see all her family for her private party and was over the moon with the whole day. 

More happiness arrived when a very special card arrived from the King and Queen Consort. Olive exclaimed: "I shall cherish this forever – thank you everyone for one of the best days of my life."
