We are celebrating the fabulous news that we have been shortlisted for 10 care industry awards.
Faith Branigan from St John’s House in Norwich and Kira Jay from Highfield House in Halesworth are both shortlisted in the BBC Make A Difference awards for their work as Care Assistants.
Faith is also shortlisted in the Rising Star category at the Norfolk Care Awards. Her colleagues at St John’s House care home in Norwich are shortlisted in the End of Life Care category and The Mayfields care home in Long Stratton is a finalist in the TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More category.
In the Great British Care Awards for the Eastern Region, Faith Branigan is also a finalist in the Care Newcomer category. Lincoln House care home in Swanton Morley, near Dereham is shortlisted the Care Home Team award.
In the national Caring UK Awards, St John’s House are shortlisted in the Excellence and Innovation in Dementia Care and Best Initiative in Care categories. And the efforts of the whole Castlemeadow Care group of homes have been recognised with a shortlisting in the Community Involvement Award, recognising how the company engages with the communities in and around the locations of their homes.
Managing Director Nigel Reeve expressed his delight at this news: “Being shortlisted for 10 local and national awards is a phenomenal achievement. We pride ourselves on the quality of the care we provide, it really is wonderful that the efforts of all the staff have been recognised by the local and national care industry.”
The award ceremonies take place in November and December, when the finalists will attend and meet other worthy care professionals from around the country.
